Coreplast SP2 (SRE) – A

Coreplast SP2 (SRE) is  a high range water reducing and retarding admixture. It is a brown, ready to use liquid, based on Sulphonated Naphthalene Polymers and water soluble poly-condensates which instantly disperses in water.

It is dosed between 200 ml to 450 ml per 50 Kg cement for normal mixes, and 250 ml to 500 ml for high cement mixes. At extremely high temperatures, the dosage can be further increased to 1.8% by weight of cement. The required quantity is added separately to the concrete mix after addition of the mixing water. To determine optimum dosage, site trials should be conducted.

When added to the concrete mix, it shows a strong plasticizing effect and improves the property of fresh and hardened concrete considerably. This plasticizing effect can be used either to increase the workability of the fresh concrete or to improve the initial and final strength of concrete by reducing the W/C ratio
