Coreplast SP2 (MS) – A

Coreplast SP2 (MS) is a High Range Water Reducing and Slump Retaining admixture Brown liquid instantly dispersible in water, based on Sulphonated Napthalene. It has been specially formulated to give higth water reduction upto 25% without loss of workability and to produce high quality concrete with reduced permeability.

It can be used with all types of cements except high alumina cement. It is compatble with other COREPLAST admixtures when added separately to the mix. It can also be used to produce flowing concrete that needs no compaction.

For normal grade of concrete a dosage from 0.6% to 1.2% by weight of cement is recommended. The dosage may be increased to 1.6% by weight to achieve specific slump requirements. For high performance, concrete  containing Microsilica, where a high amount of water and slump retention are required, dosage upto 2.5% to 3.0% by weight of cementitious materials may be required to be added.

The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength, gain or cement reduction is measured.
