Coreplast RP1 – A

Coreplast RP1 is a dark brown liquid based on selected variety of lignosuplphonates and acts as a dispersing agent after being absorbed onto the cement particles, breaking down agglomerates or cement particles, thus enabling the delay in initial hydration of the cement and resulting in retardation of the setting time.  After having undergone the initial set, the hardening process continues normally.

• It helps in reducing bleeding and segregation of concrete
• it can save upto 10% cement while maintaining original strength and workability
• It helps in avoiding “cold joints” in larger pours of concrete
• It helps in extending setting time thus minimising risk of long standing deliveries in summer when temperatures are high.
• It improves workability, cohesion and extends setting time thus protecting against delay and stoppages

Dosage : It is normally added at 0.1 to 0.3 litres per 50 Kg of cement depending on retardation required. It is advisable to have side trials as per the requirement
